For this picture i first touched up her face to make it cleaner and then set the gradient for a black and white because i love black and white pictures. i like it because it makes the picture simpler in a way and just makes things more dramatic.

with this picture i added a pink and green gradient and then set the opacity for 40%. i think this looks good because it gives it an old kind of look like the picture is aged.

i used a red, blue and yellow gradient to make the colors not so normal and vibrant. the opacity is set at 45% and i think it looks cool because it also kind of has a aged look as well.

Assignment #1 Technical vs. Emotional

This photo is technical because of the fact that if follows rule of thirds and it doesnt really tell a story. sure they are selling chocolate but it doesnt really have a memory to me because i dont sell chocolate with these people.

Emotional

This photo is emotional because it was taken within a moments notice so it wasnt really set up to follow rule of thirds. this has a story for me because i found sarah taking a picture of me so i took one of her. the picture of me is on her blog for this same assignment.

MY CAMERA:
Kodak Easyshare Z5010 Ultra Zoom is the camera that i will be using for this trimester. it is a point and shoot but it can be used for pictures that need to be manipulated in settings. it basically is a lame DSLR and a wicked awesome point and shoot. i like it and im comfortable using it. on my other blog is all the information about my camera from first trimesters assignment about the camera you will be using.

DREAM CAMERA:

i want a professional DSLR that lets me take epic pics. i want something that ay be a bit bulky but if i wanted something small i would go with a point and shoot. i want something with interchangeable lenses and the ability to make the camera do exactly what i want it to. so to get all that i want i either need my dad to get a new camera and have him give me his old one (which wouldnt happen because even if he did get a new camera hed keep his old one) of i would want the Nikon D4 thats like 6,000$ but hey this is a dream right?
